Koh Tao

This is one of the smallest islands in Thailand and the pace of life is as slow as you would expect. There is a small local village and in general the nightlife is quiet and relaxing.

Koh Tao, translates as “Turtle Island” and is today one of Thailand’s main Diving locations. There are plenty of professional PADI recommended dive schools and specialist resorts who offer excellent tuition for those wishing to experience this fantastic sport or brush up an existing passion.

For those into snorkeling, there are some great coral reefs with high visibility and the marine life is particularly colourful in this part of Thailand.
