On Arrival
You will be very excited and tired so
- Relax, check-in wherever you’re staying, have a cool refreshing drink by the pool or the beach and think how awesome and lovely your experience is going to be.
- Make contact with those who will assist you with the next stage of your plans. The Hotel/Resort – or your Thai2 Agent
, if you have chosen this route.
- If you’re doing it (Getting Married) totally on your own, you will need to contact - The Translators - The Embassy and then the Local area Amphur Office nearest to your preferred Wedding destination. See our Links
- Check with your Hotel/Resort or Thai2 agent that everything is going to plan and make your own check list of things to finalise
- Thai people are very laid back so remember this and take it in your stride, since it will help the preparations and day go the way you want. Stressing out wont help you or them
- Should the groom have a best man or best girl (as I did) ask them to help out where possible and get them involved from the beginning.
- Get the mother of the bride, bridesmaids or your flower girls or girly friends involved where possible. Many hands make light work. Hang the dress up, organise the bouquets, chat to the photographer, there'll be lots to do, so let them help out as much as possible.
- Finally don’t forget to sip a fresh fruit cocktail and get ya bikini out, as the pictures will look so much better with a tan.
